Goodbye summer, hello fall.
For whatever reason, Labor Day has always symbolized that for me. I think a lot of it hangs on the fact that it’s officially September – and that Starbucks is beginning to sell pumpkin spice lattes – but I’m sure a large part of it is based on the eagerness of everyone. This is the last long weekend before Thanksgiving and Christmas roll around, so people start cramming in their last-minute “fun in the sun” activities. Oh, and if you’re wondering, the answer is “yes”. We happen to be two of those people. Andrew and I will be venturing over to the Fulton Market District later this evening for dinner al fresco with a couple of friends, while Saturday and Sunday will be dedicated solely to beers, boating, and baseball.
Hope you have a safe and fun holiday!
