(The Restoration Hardware on Dearborn Street does not disappoint)
Christmas is exactly one week from today.
Naturally, I’ve still got some shopping to finish up. With Andrew being in Tennessee – his parents recently moved down there – I’ll be able to give my undivided attention to those left on my nice list. The first stop, you ask? Why, it’s Michigan Avenue of course! There’s just something about this stretch of stores that puts me into the holiday spirit. Perhaps it’s the snow-covered trees filled with twinkling lights or it could also be the lingering scent of Garrett Popcorn in the air. It might just be the gorgeous decorations lined along the sidewalk or maybe even the festive street performers. Either way, I plan on spending me entire Saturday afternoon there. My Sunday, however, will be the exact opposite. Anytime I leave town for a few days, I like to deep clean the apartment. So, with that being said, I’ve made a date with my closet. It’s out with the old and in with the soon-to-be new! You might also find me searching for some delicious crockpot recipes, as well as hunting for a documentary … or two … or three.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
